Professional Overview

Mr. H. Paul deVivero, P.L.S. has over twenty years experience in providing professional surveying and mapping services. As President and Founder of Geodata Consultants, Inc., his primary responsibilities are Director of Operations and Senior Project Manager for the firm. His primary focus, since inception of the company, has been the training and management of the professional staff to insure quality and accuracy of the product and services provided to the clients. Mr. deVivero has remained very active with Local, State and National Professional Societies, keeping up to date with new and changing legislation which affects the surveying profession; attending workshops and seminars; and reviewing technical reports on new technologies available to the surveying profession. Mr. deVivero’s diversified experience enables him to provide Clients with professional surveys which are accurately prepared, on schedule, and cost effective. Mr. deVivero has a broad range of municipal experience that ranges from providing surveys for the design of government facilities such as the Orange County Courthouse to community development projects which entail right-of-way acquisition, paving and drainage, water and sewer design. His private sector work has included providing all phases of surveying services for the development of a regional shopping mall, and planned unit developments ranging in size from 500 acres to 12,000 acres. He has also provided specialized services such as expert witness testimony for acquisition projects, hydrographic surveys, photogrammetric control surveys, as well as geodetic control surveys to establish the geographic position of over 200 communication facilities within the State of Florida.

Representative Project Experience

Coral Ridge Properties

A topographic survey was prepared for 4.5 sections (approximately 3000 acres) of undeveloped land in the City of Coral Springs, Florida. A 200 foot grid system was set in the field utilizing a baseline established from section corners which controlled the project boundary. Project vertical control was established by third order procedures. The survey was utilized for comprehensive planning and engineering for the City of Coral Springs.

Interstate 95

Construction lay-out of five miles of Interstate 95, Fort Pierce, Florida, which included the recovery of primary control for the baseline of construction, staking and grading for the subgrade, base and paving for travel lanes, ramps and rest areas.

Sawgrass Expressway Section 4

Prepared right-of-way acquisition documents for Section 4 of the Sawgrass Expressway, located in Broward County, Florida. All acquisition documents were prepared based on field surveys of the properties cited for acquisition.

Weston by Arvida

A 12,000 acre Planned Unit Development (PUD) located in Broward County, Florida. Prepared legal descriptions and sketches for all parcels lying within the project for use in the PUD documents. Prepared subdivision plats, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction surveys and record surveys. Input and management of a Geographic Information System (GIS) data base.

Lockheed Corporation

Project Manager for the preparation of a detailed structural As-built Survey of Lockheed's B-1 Building, Marietta, Georgia. The B-1 building housed the assembly line for the C-41 Transport Aircraft. The survey was utilized for the design of an air pollutant filtration system.

Orange County Courthouse, Florida

Project included a boundary, topographic and utility surveys for the design of the New Orange County Courthouse Site. The surveys required establishing the existing surrounding right-of-ways, research and recovery of existing underground drainage structures and utility appurtenances. Coordinated with Orange County and the City of Orlando for the platting of the property as well as describing subordinate boundaries for joint use agreements between the City and the County. Established primary grid control for the construction of the courthouse buildings and facilities.

Bishop Moore High School

Project included a boundary, topographic and utility surveys for the Bishop Moore School Site The surveys required establishing the existing surrounding right-of-ways, research and recovery of existing underground drainage structures and utility appurtenances. Coordinated with Orange County for the platting of the property.

I-95 PD&E from Brevard County Line to State Road 44

Project included horizontal PNC, alignment of existing right-of-way lines, locate aerial targets, topography, DTM, drainage survey, bridge survey, pond site survey, jurisdictional line survey, section/grant survey, subdivision location and preparing control and right-of-way maps.

SR 400 (I-4) Ultimate Lanes from South of SR 435 to SR 500/600 Orange Blossom Trail

Provided surveying and mapping services for road improvements and road expansion.

PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW

Mr. Schwartz has over seven years of surveying experience. The majority of his experience has been focused on the office side of surveying including, but not limited to project management, client relations, production and training. Mr. Schwartz enjoys all aspects of surveying and favors boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and writing legal descriptions and sketches. Mr. Schwartz has extensive experience in horizontal and vertical control and processing field data. Mr. Schwartz is responsible for setting up the field crews and directing them on each of their projects. Mr. Schwartz is also in charge of the cadd department. South Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority

Miscellaneous Lift Station Sites, Professional Surveyor and Mapper Boundary and Topographic survey of three existing lift station sites. Projects included GPS control, vertical control, and underground utility location.

Crownpointe Commerce Park

Professional Surveyor and Mapper ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey (Boundary Survey) for various parcels located in Crownpointe Commerce Park, Phases 2 and 3.

Tricor Development Group

Professional Surveyor and Mapper Performed boundary, topographic, and tree surveys for various parcels through out Florida for private development. Surveys included full intersection right of way determination and location of underground utilities.

Hillsborough County – Benjamin Road Bridge

PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW

Mr. Huffman is a Survey Technician for the firm and has over 3 years of experience in the surveying profession. He began his career with our firm in 2005, and has a year of field experience and has spent the last two years in the office as a survey technician. At Geodata Consultants, Inc., he began as a Rodman in the field and within a few months trained to run the instrument. He was an Instrument Person when he came in to the office. Mr. Huffman took Surveying classes at Seminole Community College at night. His responsibilities include the preparation of right-of-way maps, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, design and DTM surveys. Mr. Huffman is a quick learner and takes a lot of pride in his work. He is very detailed oriented and has a good understanding of the surveying profession.

Mr. Huffman has experience with the FDOT Electronic Field Book (EFB) both in the collection of field data and with the data processing. He utilizes MicroStation and Geopak to prepare the various survey drawings and maps, and is well versed in Autocadd, TDS, Leica Ski-Pro and Microsoft products as well. Mr. Huffman is attending the University of Central Florida to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree at this time.
